Good review meeting in Brussels

After the submission of the first periodic report, last February 5th WP leaders and management team had the opportunity to share their points of view about the progress done so far, together with the EC Officer and two expert reviewers. The meeting was held at the Research Executive Agency in Brussels.

The meeting stated with an overview of the project presented by the scientific coordinator, Eric Justes. Special attention was paid to the project multi actor approach, which is running well and providing positive outcomes after having been well explained and apprehended by all the different partners at the first Annual meeting.

First key results, such as the number of papers accepted or submitted in high-ranked scientific journals, on-going experiments and modelling activities, the project engagement to design the European Diversification Cluster, or the high participation of the partners in different events and workshops (own or third parties´) were all presented, together with the main challenges still to be addressed and the next steps planned. Afterwards every work package leader had the opportunity to deepen a bit on its own activities, giving special emphasis to the interaction between work packages and country platforms, which makes the approach of the project innovative and unique.  

The reviewers and EC officer had the chance to ask questions and share ideas, leading to very constructive and supportive discussions. The project seems to be on the right track, and everybody left the meeting with the impression of having attended a well organized, profited and inspiring meeting.
